This concert also features CalJAS Artist and Member Glenn Cashman.  Director of Jazz Studies at New York’s Colgate University, and music director  for the Muckenthaler Jazz Festival. Glenn, long recognized in the Southland for his woodwinds, is now becoming known for his keyboard work as well. Glenn has been a very active performer, member, and supporter of the California Jazz Arts Society.  www.glenncashman.com  

Good friend and House Concert Host Luther Hughes has been one of the most active L.A. bassists for many years. His resume of recordings and performers is endless, including his years with Gene Harris, and perhaps more notably, Nancy Wilson. The show has a broader jazz format, still primarily straight-ahead and jazz related vocals but sprinkled with other genres like Dixieland, Latin, fusion, smooth, free jazz, etc
